My name is Brian M. Hayes, II. A couple of years ago I watched you train my brother and sister at The Perkiomen School. I cannot thank you enough for all of the wisdom that you have passed on to my entire family about hitting. As a result of your teachings, my sister Brooke became the M.V.P. of her high school softball team batting an outstanding .560 in league play with multiple extra base hits. She is now a sophomore attending Gannon University in Erie, PA on a softball scholarship. My brother Brent took some lessons with Jerry Cooper after you worked with him. He is now in 10th grade and has almost mastered your teachings. Brent ended up hitting over .300 this past summer and led our summer team in on base percentage.
I have instilled your methods in all of the children that I coach. As a matter of fact our summer baseball team, The Exeter Cardinals, finished with an impressive record of 40-13 and I attribute most of our success to your teachings. Mr. Lau, you would be very impressed with our league. We play in a 16u wood bat league, so it is imperative that you "stay inside the ball!"
Again, I cannot thank you enough for the tremendous information that you have given us. I also feel that Major League Baseball needs to wake up and give you and your father the credit you deserve for making the game so great!
